White Beans with Black Pepper

White Beans with Black Pepper

Beans straight from the can get boring fast. A solid glug of oil and some pepper changes everything. Add a squeeze of lemon if you want, but honestly it's already good.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned white beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tablespoon SELMA Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon

Directions

  1. Place 1 cup white beans in a small bowl.
  2. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil, add a pinch of sea salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and toss. Add an optional squeeze of lemon.

Make them ask what changed.

Most olive oil is background noise. Selma isn’t. One drizzle and your “pretty good” dishes start getting real compliments.
